SECTORSEVEN ACHIEVES R2v3 CERTIFICATION

ALEXANDRIA, Minnesota, August 7, 2023

SectorSeven LLC, a global provider of wireless telecom handsets and related devices, announced today that its main operating facility in Alexandria, Minnesota has been certified for the Responsible Recycling (R2v3) program. This R2v3 certification is accredited by a third-party governing body and provides a common set of processes, safety measures, and documentation requirements for businesses that repair, resale and recycle used electronics. R2v3 is rigorously and independently audited, emphasizing quality, safety, and transparency.

The R2v3 (Responsible Recycling) Standard, developed by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), is one of the most respected certifications in the electronics recycling sector. It sets stringent requirements for environmental, health, safety, and security aspects related to electronics recycling, refurbishment, and data destruction processes.

The R2v3 certification marks a significant milestone for SectorSeven as it demonstrates their dedication to environmental preservation, customer data protection, and worker safety. The rigorous certification process evaluated every facet of the company’s operations, ensuring that the highest industry standards were met and exceeded.

“Receiving the R2v3 certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” said Eric Baxter, COO of SectorSeven. “We have always prioritized sustainability, safety, and ethical practices, and this certification reaffirms our commitment to our customers, partners, and the communities we serve.”
